My new book is basically set in Eden

I have been hard at work on a new novel, which is quite different from what I’ve written before. It’s set in one of those fantasy worlds where homophobia is not a thing. There’s still systemic injustice and war and poverty, but same-sex relationships are just not regarded as anything unusual. It’s a sunny place, too, with lush green hills and misty blue skies and snowy mountains on the horizon, and I find it all very soothing. I’m about 3/4 finished with the rough draft, so I hope I can get it finished and in print in 2023 - a LONG hiatus from my last book, but it’s been a long couple of years.
